The rich and luminous colour of this ketuba echoes the effect of sunlight through stained glass. The Seven Species surround the text: wheat; barley; figs; olives; palm; pomegranates and vines relate symbolically to the Seven Blessings over the bride at the wedding ceremony and symbolize the blessings of growth, fruitfulness and the vital qualities of life.
