The Jewish Museum Tesori
Collection Matzah Plate
The Tesori (treasures) Collection features the charm of an old world design in modern interpretation. The seven species motif includes grapes, olives, wheat, barley, figs, dates (to make honey) and pomegranates. The seven species symbolize the abundance of the Land of Israel in biblical times. An Italian porcelain seder plate crafted in the second half of the 19th century inspired this collection.
The Hebrew word for matzah is written on this plate. New bone china. 11-3/4"w x 9-3/4"t.
