The Jewish Museum Tesori
Collection Seder Plate
Product Description
The Tesori (treasures) Collection features the charm of an old world design in modern interpretation. The seven species motif includes grapes, olives, wheat, barley, figs, dates (to make honey) and pomegranates. The seven species symbolize the abundance of the Land of Israel in biblical times. An Italian porcelain seder plate crafted in the second half of the 19th century inspired this collection.
This seder plate features wells to hold each of the symbolic foods for the Passover seder. Each well is labeled in both Hebrew and English with the name of the food it is to hold. The Hebrew word Pesach, meaning Passover is written in the center. New bone china. 13" round.
